FOSSIL RIDGE: The Hawks came into Tuesday night's game after suffering a 20 point blowout, in which the final score was 60-40. --- Birdville played it safe the first 3 quarters of the game, but let Guyer take over in that 4rth quarter. -- "This game's our's, we blew it in the 4rth quarter vs. Guyer, let's go out there and take care of business in the 4rth this time" Coach Jeff Fitch told his team, before the 4rth and final quarter in what would be a close loss to the Panthers.

The Hawks had the ball down 3 numerous times in the 4rth quarter, with chances to tie the game, but failed to. "We had chances to tie this game, but the 3 pointers just didn't fall in for us" said Coach Fitch after the game. --- The Panthers won the game 48-41 in Tuesday night's close game.
Cris Sawyer led the Hawks in scoring in the loss with 16 points, Jimmy King had 8 points, Aaron Hughs had 6 points.
* Coach Fitch said that Jeremy Crane gave him his best minutes on the court in the game.
*Fossil Ridge wasn't afraid to shoot it from 3, the Panthers light it up from downtown in Tuesday night's game, though the Hawks didn't give up as many 3 pointers in the 2nd half as they did in the 1rst half to the Panthers. -- "They're going to shoot 3's because they have good shooters, and because they can make it" (Coach Fitch, again)
